The electric signal of 100Base TX twisted pair and the signal of 100Base-FX fiber optic. It extends the network transmission distance from 100m to 50Km (single mode optical fiber). Its typical application is Ethernet long distance interconnection, such as the interconnection between the equipment room of community with MAN.
